1. Designation of a clear concept and strategy for environmental researches activities and specifying relations that govern environmental elements as well as highlighting the role of specialists in environmental protection. 2. Documentation of environmental information related to water resources , air, soil, energy..etc and cooperating with international organizations in this respect. 3. Establishment of environmental unit to care for evaluation, planning and specifying inventory as well as containing bibliography of those interested in environmental disciplines . 4. Following up environmental impacts caused by neighboring countries on Iraqi environment specially related to use of Tran- boundary rivers effects on water quality. Stressing on including water quality element in the international laws is also considered.
* Conducting various environmental researches. More than 120 scientific researches were completed. * Teaching at related colleges and departments as well as supervison on higher studies. * Executing more than 15 studies for governmental ministries as well as do tens of EIA reports for private sector. * Conducting necessary quality tests for water and effluents from different projects. * Delivering lectures at/and celebrating environmental occasions * Participation in committees at ministerial and local government levels. * Conference, symposium, continuing education & seminars.
