About the Department:
Soil sciences and water dept. was established in 1970 .The first graduation
ceremony was in (1974-1975) in the college of agriculture and forstery located
at Hammam Al-Alil county . first master degree in soil science was honourd in
1979. Department of soil & water sciences consist of many major scientific
studies which deal with different connected areas in semi arid region and also
deals in water sciences. There for, the department name changed to Soil sciences
and water in 2001.
