About the Department:

    The department was established in 1993 , It aims at preparing efficient English language teachers armed with the necessary skills to teach in basic schools as well as preparing them educationally , prepareing them to achieve scientific research through graduation projects , studying linguistic theories , developing their skills in communication , expressions and good pronunciation . It aims also at developing the lecturers, abilities through symposiums , seminars , publishing researches and cooperation with equivalent departments . The department contributes to the society through cooperation with State directorate of Education , participate in field work held by the university
