About the Department:

The department was the first one in the college , it opened in 1993 . It aims at preparing scientific and vocational staff armed with scientific expertise to teach science at basic and primary stages to achieving the following goals :

1- Provide students with scientific information and educational ideas related to concepts , roles , and principles of natural science in biology , chemistry and physics

2- Provide students with the scientific and educational skills necessary to teaching career

3- To develop scientific and social aspects necessary for teachers

It was until the year 2004 that the department began to graduate students in one of the following specializations : biology , chemistry and physics
