The Departments of the College
The College of Computers Sciences and Mathematics has been established in 28th July, 1999. It aims at preparing scientific staff specialized in computers sciences, mathematics, statistical science and other relevant sciences, dovetailing positive interaction between computers science with mathematical and statistical sciences. It also aims at conducting pure and applied researches to reach scientific development and to create connections with society through holding scientific, technical and educational courses, and preparing specialized scientific leadership through higher educational programs. The college consists of the following scientific departments: Mathematics, Statistics and Informatics, Computer Science, and Software Engineering. The number of annual graduation periods established since first college was initiated is seven periods. The college issues two periodical magazines : 1- The Iraqi Journal of Statistical Sciences: semi annual magazine issued the first edition of the magazine dated in 5/7/2001. 2- Al-Rafidean Journal for Computers Sciences and Mathematics : semi annual magazine issued the first edition of the magazine dated in 18/8/2004 .
