Arabic Department

The Department of Arabic was founded in1974 –1975 within the Department of languages and became an independent department in 1978-1979. The first batch mounted to 67 students, graduated from secondary schools as well as primary school teachers to prepare a qualified teaching staff who combines academic specialization with psychological and educational sciences so as to practice their role in secondary schools .The department gives bachelor in Arabic, Master degree in Arabic and literature and Ph.D. in Arabic and its literature. In 1997,evening studies was initiated and so for two batches have been graduated.
