About the Department:

     History Department is a department of college of education , university of Mosul . This department aims at graduating expert teachers in history to enhance the historical knowledge for intermediate and secondary students, by studying the Iraqi and Arab home land history, ancient, medieval, and modern history , to acquaint oneself with a human  civilization and to understand the human experiences throughout history .

               The history department consists of high experienced lecturers, (8) of them are Full professors, (11) are Assistant professor, (13) are lecturers, in addition to some scholars and administrative members.
