About the Department:

        

Computer engineering department is one of engineering college's departments - Mosul university and it was founded in 1998, the department aims to graduate engineers who are specialist in computer engineering field in it's two part software and hardware to support the country with what it needs of these specializations, so the department aims are as following:

1.      graduation engineers who are specialist in operating, connecting and maintain computers in factories, governmental office and etc..

2.      The computer engineer is able to work in computers and software manufacturing and implementing field.

3.      Computer Engineer can transform the ordinary industrial work into automated work according to what he studied about controlling using computers and working under the real time environment.

4.      Computer engineer can work in any field of the communication fields if we considered that all modern communication systems work and programmed by computers from the mobile systems, radio, TV stations and ending with large and advanced phone switches.

5.      supporting society, colleges and institutes with the higher and specialist specializations through studying M.Sc and Ph.D degrees.
