About the Department:

    

The environmental technology department is one of two-twin departments that constitute the college of environmental science and technology. This department started with the foundation of the college to contribute in adding some scientific knowledge on multitude environmental problems that currently facing the world.

   The world is facing many challenges such as climate change, ozone depletion, water scarcity air pollution, desertification, food and power supply..etc. these challenges required multi-discipline knowledge in order to cope with them.

   Accordingly, this department is sought to adopt an educational program that develop capacity building and environmental skills. Such program provides the students with the right knowledge that enable them to act-individually or as a group-to solve existing environmental problems or at least making every efforts to mitigate them at future.
