About the college
1. Mosul University was requested to study the proposal of establishing new
college named Environmental Science and Technology. This issue was forwarded to
the university for decision-making. Related colleges were consulted and a final
recommendation for approval was made.
2. The college of environmental Science and Technology was then established
on June 12th 2006 and established its function with the onset of academic year
2006/2007.
3. Mosul University formed a 5-person committee to prepare and carry on all
facilities for the ordinary start of the college.
4. Prof. Dr. Muath H. Mustafa was nominated on 25/12/2006 as a dean of
college of environmental science and technology.
5. The total employee of the college amounts to 40 comprising, academic,
technical and administrator staff.
6. Total number of students who joined in this college amounts to 62 in the
first academic year 2006/2007, and (64) student in the second academic year
(2007/2008).
