About the college:

   The college of Islamic Sciences was established in 2004. Study at the college is a four-year program and awards a B.A. in Islamic Sciences.

            It admits graduates from both scientific and literary branches in addition to the graduates of the Islamic high school in accord with the percentages put by the ministry.

            It aims at qualifying B.A. holders in Islamic studies. It focuses on the scientific and pedagogical study of Islam and its civilization in accordance with the rules of true scientific research that suit the grandeur of Islamic and its scientific position.

            It also stresses on studying Islam within its great fundamentals and supreme   comprehensive and unifying principles, far from the racial, sectarian, denominational and partisan frameworks.

            It asserts the reconstruction of Islamic, strong identity through renewing the close links between Islam and individuals and between Islam and society far from all racial segregation, which will contribute to the building of a strong and unified Iraq free from all the deviations that infects the other societies.

·       The fourth scientific Symposium under the titel ( Our master Mohammad ( P B U H ) man of humanity , civilization and Peace ) 20-12-2006 .

·       The fifth  scientific Symposium under the titel ( The importace of the scurity in supporting the trip of civilization and Peace ) .

Lectures

Holding many cultural Lectures and discissing seminars with many staff members of the scientific Departments during the study year distributoing amony two study terms .

The Seminars which being held to discussing the staff research fram the scientific Departments which registering dueing the year plane .

  - The Establishment of the first Scientific Conference for the College during the period 15 – 16 /11/2005 .
