About the Department:

The department was established  in 1962 . the heads of department were

1-   Dr. Khalida Mulhim

2-   Dr. Raja Haqqi

3-   Dr. Maida Shamdeen

4-   Dr. Yosra Tahir Jarjees

The department was aided from Indian and other foreigner lecturers till 1980

Objectives of the department:

1-   Teaching undergraduate medical students

2-   Training & Supervision & post graduate medical students  ( Iraqi and Arab board& Diploma)

3-   Attending & participating in clinical meetings

4-   Practicing high quality medical services

5-   Growing – up of the department
