About the Department:

         The  section was  established  in  1967 and headed by doctor  Abdul- Wahab  Al-Chaalabee  till 1969 where headed  by doctor Riyadh Hamdi , followed by doctor Ali  Asim till 1972 , in the same year . The section was headed again  by doctor Al-Chalabi after getting MSc. Degree in forensic from Cairo University  -Egypt  , until his  death in 1995 . followed by assistant  professor A-I-K –Hassain –MSc. In  clinical biochemistry and still the head of section  until the present time. The section is teaching forensic medicine  and toxicology theoretically  and  practically to the fourth – year  students of  college of medicine in addition to medical  ethics.
