Department of pharmacology is a basic dept. in the college of pharmacy which is established in 1992. The subjects studied in the dept. of pharmacology are: Anatomy, physiology, Microbiology, Parasitology, Pathology, Basic pharmacology& Toxicology. All the subjects given as courses for the students of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd &4th.year in the college of pharmacy. The researches, articles & posters in the dept. are oriented towards the relations of the effects of different drugs on the human beings & the interaction of the drugs & all the other parameters related to therapy.
The dept. consists of the head of the dept. and the scientific staff.

I- In the year 2005-2006: 1. Many scientific seminars were delivered in lecture room of the dept.. 2. Other activities done by the candidates of the dept. are publishing (Scientific& Educational articles) in different news paper& magazines of the university of Mosul.
