About
the College
At the beginning, the College of political
science was established as an independent department of the College of Law in
1985. Two classes were graduated, the first one is in 1988 .1989 and the second
one is in the 1989-1990. then it stopped the graduation because there is no
capacity to establish private College of political sciences. In 1990 the College
didn’t receive any student, then the department was re-opened according to the
university order No. 5273/8/1 in 2000/6/28.
The study continued for two years .Then the
department became an independent College having the same name (political
science) according to university order No. 5313/8/1 in 2002/5/28 having the 19th
rank consisting of two departments ,international relations and public policy.
