About the Department:
The geology department founded in Mosul University in 1964. The
whole cadre of the college was of foreigners, whereas 12 students'
males and females joined the study and with increase numbers of the
accepted students the number became 120 students in 1974. In 1980,
the cadre of the college became Iraqis. .
The primary study in the college is 4 years
dispersed of four study stages, comprises theoretical, scientific and fields
established studies, and after passing the study requirements successfully, the
graduates is given bachelor's degree certificate in geology
