About the Department:

 

·        Department of physics established at 1963-1964 in the college of science, and before it in the college of medicine at 1959 and added to the college of sciences.

·          First group of bachelor graduated at 1967-1968.

·          Master study started in physics department at 7/11/1977.

·          First group of master degree graduated at 1979.
